729,763. Fuel-injection pumps. NAPIER & SON, Ltd., D. Aug. 12, 1953 [July 21, 1952], No. 18320/52. Class 102 (1). In a fuel-injection pump, a housing C is attached to the pump cylinder and has a partion C1 having a central port C2 controlled by a disc valve F, loaded by spring H<SP>1</SP>, and a ring of ports C<SP>3</SP> controlled by a disc valve E loaded by a spring G<SP>1</SP>. The valve F has notches F<SP>1</SP> to allow fuel to pass through ports C<SP>2</SP> and the valve E has an opening E<SP>1</SP> aligned with port C<SP>2</SP> . The positions of the valves E, F, may be reversed. At the end of injection, the. valve F permits return flow to the pump cylinder to reduce the pressure in the delivery pipeÀ
