Abstract

718,003. Two-part couplings. ROE & CO., Ltd., A. V. Aug. 7, 1933, [Sept. 25, 1952.] No. 24036/52. Class 38(1). A socket assembly for insertion in a pair of adjacent slots in a terminal block of the plug and socket type, such as is shown in Specification 667,685, comprises two parallel rows of three sockets connected by a bridge g bent up from a single metal strip. All the corrugations are used as sockets, two cable end ferrules e in one row being inserted from one side and the other ferrule from the other side. In another embodiment (Fig. 2, not shown) the intermediate sockets h are not used but give resilience to the assembly.
