Class 19 A reservoir shaving brush comprises a hollow handle 2 having one open end and one end partially closed by a diaphragm 9, the diaphragm having an internally threaded aperture 9 into which is screwed a spigot attached to the brush head 1. A tube 7 passes from within the bristles through the spigot to connect the interior of the handle with the bristles. In the arrangement shown a movable plunger 3 is provided within the handle. The handle is charged with shaving cream from a collapsible tube, the threaded aperture in the diaphragm 9 being of such a size as to receive the threaded end of a standard shaving cream tube. Shaving cream is subsequently discharged into the bristles by exerting pressure on the plunger 3. A shoulder or a spring ring within the handle near its open end prevents the plunger from leaving the handle. In a modification a tube having its lower end closed except for a small hole slides in a substantially air tight manner over the handle. By closing the hole with the finger and moving the tube over the handle a corresponding movement of the plunger 3 may be obtained. The tube may be removed from the handle and replaced over the head of the brush, when the brush is not in use. In a further modification the plunger is replaced by a flexible container attached to the inside of the handle near its upper end. The flexible container is pressed directly.
