Abstract

255,093. Collette, O. P. D. Hendrick-. July 10, 1925, [Convention date]. Piston apparatus for discharging receptacies, -An appliance for discharging polish from a container comprises, as shown in Fig. 1, a tube 1, provided with straps for attachment to a brush handle, and secured to an inner tube 2 threaded internally to engage a sleeve 3 attached to a piston 4. The piston is adapted to force polish from a container 6 through an orifice 7. In the construction shown in Fig. 2, the container 6 is situated in a cylinder 11 fitted with a cap 12 which is formed with a screw-threaded aperture to receive the stem 14 of a piston 15. The polish is extruded by the actuation of a crank 16. The appliance is secured to the brush handle by a strap 10<1>. The tube 6 may be omitted, the polish being contained in the cylinder 11 which, in that case, is formed with a narrow orifice at the bottom.
