Abstract

204,684. George, H. E. Sept. 27, 1922, [Convention date]. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Act]. Reservoir brushes. - A shaving-brush comprises a hollow handle A into one end of which is fitted a brush head B with a tapering duct C, a plunger E being fitted into the handle and adapted to be moved towards the head B to express soap paste through the duct C. The plunger E engages a screw-threaded spindle F which projects at one end through a cap A<1>. Rotation of a knob F<1> on the spindle advances the plunger E. In a modification, the brush head is permanently secured to the handle which is internally screwthreaded to engage with a screwthreaded plunger formed on its exterior surface with ribs to facilitate turning.
