Class 80 (3) [Also in Group XXII] In cam mechanism for converting rotary into vibratory motion a ring 3 on a driving shaft 4 rotates between two sets of balls or rollers, one of which engages a race on a fixed ring 2 to form a thrust bearing, while the other set engages an undulating race surface on a ring 5 which is supported by a leaf spring 6, or other resilient means, carrying the tool 7 or other member to be vibrated.
