Class 120(2) A ring and traveller combination comprises a ring having an outer face extending downwardly and sloping inwardly from the top of the ring toward the centre thereof and an inner face extending parallel to the axis of the ring and a traveller made of a plastic mounted on and movable around said ring, said traveller having a leg located inside the ring, a foot extending around the bottom of the ring and a top bar extending over the top of the ring, said top bar having a nose extending downwardly in opposing relation to the inwardly sloping outer surface at the top of the ring, the nose portion having an inner surface opposing and sloping towards the leg of the traveller. As shown, the ring 10 has an annular flange 11 for supporting it in a frame. The outer face 12 at the bottom of the ring, and the inner surface 13 are generally parallel to the axis of the ring but the surface 15 at the top of the outer surface of the ring slopes downwardly and inwardly toward the centre of the ring. The traveller 16. has a top bar 17 carrying a hook or nose portion 18 which extends downwardly in opposing relation to the undercut surface 15 of the ring 10. It also has a leg 19 which extends down the inside of the ring 10 and carries a foot 20 which extends around the bottom of the ring 10. A strengthening rib 21 is provided on each side of the traveller each rib being increased in width at the point 21a where the thread T runs and at a point 21b near the bottom of the leg to increase the rigidity of the traveller.
