Abstract

426,009. Rings and travellers for spinning and twisting frames. EADIE BROS. & CO., Ltd., Victoria Works, and POWRIE, T. K., 10, Greenlaw Avenue, both in Paisley, Renfrewshire. Nov. 18, 1933, No. 28905. [Class 120 (ii)] Rings for spinning and twisting frames are provided with a track a of rounded shape forming, in crosssection, part of a true circle, and arranged vertically, as shown, or inclined inwardly or outwardly, and the traveller B is so shaped that when it is in the normal angular running position 5 it contacts fully with substantially the whole of the track. A recess a<1> may be made in the ring to afford clearance for the yarn, or the traveller may be shaped as at b<1> for this purpose. A part corresponding to b<1> may be formed in each tail so that the traveller may be mounted either way.
