Abstract

430,520. Spinning &c. travellers. COOK & CO., MANCHESTER, Ltd., and TOWLSON, H. J., 18, Exchange Street, Manchester. Feb. 15, 1934, No. 5005. [Class 120 (ii)] Travellers are provided with one or more grooves, kinks or indentations 5 so inclined that in operation they are approximately parallel with the top edge of the ring, whereby an even distribution of solid lubricant applied to the inside of the ring is ensured. The invention is particularly applicable to travellers of non-ferrous material used in wet-doubling and prevents " brassing " of the ring.
