Class 100 (2) A hand stamp has a tubular frame comprising a base ring 1 threaded to a second superposed ring 2, the second ring having two lugs 3 to which a spring loaded divided ink pad 4 is hinged, the second ring being threaded to a superposed centrally bored tie ring 5, the bore being surrounded by an upright flange 5B and the ring being threaded to a superposed tubular body 1 provided with a centrally bored top cap 7, the joints between the members 1, 2, 5, 6 being rebated to give flush fitting internal and external surfaces to the frame. A stamp carrying shaft 8 is slidably mounted in the bores of the tie ring 5 and top cap 7 and its head 8A is normally in contact with the ink pad 4 which divides against the pressure of its springs when the shaft 8 is depressed. The shaft acts against a spring 10 which is positioned by the flange 5B and underneath a stop member 9 secured to the shaft 8.
