Abstract

703,897. Sifting apparatus. MIAG MUEHLENBAU UND INDUSTRIE GES. July 1, 1952 [July 2, 1951], No. 16510/52. Class 117 For cleaning semolina &c. two adjacent sieving units 11 are aspirated by apertured suction pipes 2, projecting laterally into the sieve chambers and leading to a collection duct 5 which is integral with the units 11. The duct 5 is connected by a flexible sleeve 6 to the downwardly exhausting pipe 7. The material is supplied through pipes 1 at the rear of the sieve units and passes the sieves 3 to shaking troughs 10 whence it proceeds through pipe lines 8. The sieving units 11 and shaking troughs 10 are reciprocated in opposite directions, on oscillatory brackets 4, by known means.
