727,327. Pneumatic conveyers. MIAG MUEHLENBAU UND INDUSTRIE GES. July 31, 1952 [Aug. 1, 1951; July 14, 1952], No. 19361/52. Class 78 (1). Material after treatment in a machine, such as a grinding mill, falls through a funnel 3 and over a pivoted curved member 2 formed with a comb-like edge 22 into the carrier air stream. The area of the outlet from the funnel is adjustable either by swinging the member 2 or the pivoted counter-wall 9. Air enters the conveying pipe 5 from the atmosphere through the passage 13 and from the machine through the passage 14. The areas of the passages relatively to each other can be adjusted by moving the pivoted flap 15. The parts 2, 9 and 15 are mounted in a casing 16 which is detachable from the machine.
