613,176. Rotary drying-apparatus. LINKBELT CO. June 14, 1946, No. 17893. Convention date, April 9. [Class 34(ii)] A discharge device for rotary horizontal driers for granular materials has a tubular discharge throat 42 provided with a number of vanes 44, which may be independently adjustable, located in the bore of the said throat for controlling the rate of discharge. The vanes 44 are preferably bolted to flat bases 43 by angularlyarranged securing flanges 45. Specifications 269,892, [Class 51 (ii)], and 611,356 are referred to.
