699,502. Deckles and flow-boxes of papermaking machines. MILLSPAUGH, Ltd. April 7, 1952. No 8789/52. Addition to 681,600. Class 96. A deckle-wall of the kind disclosed in the parent Specification is curved to conform with an arc of a suction breast roll 21 of a papermaking machine. The deckle 37 may form part of or be secured to the side wall 33 of the flow-box 22a at the lower end of which is a doctor 23. The outer surface of the flow-box comprises an upper plate 28 sliding over a lower plate 27, a slotted bracket 32 &c. providing arcuate adjustment, and a screw 34 and nuts 35 providing radial adjustment of the upper plate 28. Rubber-mounted vibrator-arms 24 agitate the pulp.
