Abstract

694,169. Textile spindle driving arrangements. MACOTEX SOC. AR.L., and PEROTTI, A. Sept. 7, 1949, No. 23211/49. Class 120 (ii) The spindles on each side of a spinning, doubling or like machine are driven by belts 7 from pulleys 5, the pulleys being revolved by gearing from shafts 1 on each side of the machine. The belts are tensioned by pulleys 9 urged against the belt tension by springs 12. The shafts 1 may comprise sections joined by flexible couplings comprising chains having double links, each chain passing over two sprocket wheels at the adjacent ends of the sections.
