Abstract

691,956. Linear dimension gauges. NAAMLOOZE VENNOOTSCHAP PHILIPS' GLOEILAMPENFABRIEKEN. Sept. 4, 1951 [March 10, 1951], No. 20878/51. Class 106 (ii). A calliper gauge comprises a U-shaped frame 1, which houses two measuring components 2, 3, and a wedge 6, the components and wedge being held in place by a single screw 15 acting on a locating member 10, both of the parts being located between one side of a limb of the frame and one side of one of the measuring components remote from the wedge. A measuring scale is engraved on the wedge and one of the measuring components to facilitate adjustment. An additional locating nember 9 may be provided on the other side of the assembly as shown in Fig. 1. Both the locating members preferably have projections 14 and 11 on their ends. Specifications 673,512, 684,746, 691,955 and 691,957 are referred to.
