[Also in Division H2] In a differential pressure gauge in which a spring loaded axially movable piston 21 has its end faces exposed respectively to the two pressures to which the gauge is to be subjected, the piston 21 rotates, through rack and pinion gears 37, 44, the spindle 45 of an indicating and control mechanism and a cam 58 mounted on the spindle 45 actuates a movable member 63 of an electric switch 60. In an alternative arrangement, Fig. 4, (not shown), the piston 21 is replaced by a resilient diaphragm.
