715,553. Dynamometers. AKTIEBOLAGET M. HOLMQUIST. June 11, 1952 [June 11, 1951], No. 14679/52. Class 106 (2). [Also in Group XXXIV] A bearing (see Group XXXIV), of the'kind having tiltable blocks 16 which support the load on oil wedges, has its blocks pre-loaded by screwing sockets 60 into the housing 14 to bear on the blocks through resilient bars 66, the amount of the load being measured by a meter 68 having a part 72, adapted by means of a nut 78 and a spring 76, to bear on a bar 66. After zeroizing, the meter is calibrated by subjecting the bar 66 to a known load.
