689,631. Boxes. ROSE BROTHERS (GAINSBOROUGH), Ltd. Jan. 19, 1951 [Feb. 10, 1950], No. 3421/50. Class 18 A carton for ice cream or similar confectionery has an extension 20 on the front tuck-in flap 19 adjoining the lid 18 which folds back on to the flap and forms a pocket adapted to receive a cardboard or wooden spoon. The carton is formed from a one piece blank having side walls 12 ... 15 foldable up from a base 11, two opposite walls 13, 15 having flaps 17 and the other walls having securing tabs 16. The fold line of tuck-in flap may be perforated to enable it to be readily torn from the carton when the lid is opened. A securing tab 25 extending from the extension 20 is secured to the lid and is similarly perforated along its fold line which coincides with that of the tuck-in flap.
