Abstract
720,970. Boxes. BRUNAA, O. U. B. J. May 26, 1953 [Oct. 7, 1952], No. 14663/53. Class 18. A cardboard or like carton or box has inset end walls 10 with outwardly extending flanges 22 round which are bent and secured edge flaps along the adjacent edges of the bottom 16, front and rear walls 12, 18, lid 20 and closing flap 14, the lid whose front edge is slit being partly covered by flap 14. The lid has no edge flaps along the edges of the part covered by flap 14. Preferably the edge flaps are secured to flanges 22 by staples 26. Flap 14 may be weakened adjacent the edges so as to be lifted readily when it is desired to fold back the part of the lid between slits 32 to show the contents, Fig. 4.
