Abstract
681,801. Wave-guides. STANDARD TELEPHONES & CABLES, Ltd. Aug. 3, 1951, No. 18391/51. Class 40 (viii). An adjustable local impedance in a wave-guide comprises a rotatable circular disc 6 arranged to close a hole in the wall 1 of the guide, and a plug 8 is eccentrically mounted in disc 6 so that it may project an adjustable amount into the guide. As shown, the plug may consist of a screw fitting in a tapped hole in disc 6.
