Abstract

<PICT:0681472/IV (c)/1> Apparatus for treating moist fabric with hot air during relaxed drying (see Group XIII) comprises nozzles 75 and 77 between which the fabric passes in short loops on the spaced elements 68 of a conveyer 66, the bottoms of the loops being supported on a foraminous conveyer 73 or on a stationary or vertically-reciprocating foraminous plate. The hot air from nozzles 75 ripples the fabric loops, relieves the fabric of tension and, together with the air from nozzles 77, dries the fabric.
