[Also in Group XI] Ingots or other metal articles to be heated are moved through an induction furnace on a conveyer which projects from below into the furnace and comprises U-shaped steel bails 6a stayed by cross sheets 6b and supported on cross beams 7 below the furnace advanced bv conveyer chains 20 running on bars 21. A ceramic support may be interposed between the bails 6a and the ingots.
