Abstract
A steel comprises C 0.15% maximum Mn 0.3-1.8% Ni 1-6% Si 0.5% maximum N 0.008-0.025% V 0.05-0.2% Al 0.01-0.1% the balance, apart from impurities, being iron. Rolled products of the alloy must be subjected to one or more normalizing heat treatments.
