[Also in Groups XVII and XXV] Box parts, such as the base and cover of a motor starting- switch box, are locked against opening by a screw engaging a hole or slot b<SP>2</SP> in the cover and tapped into a -hole in the base. The base and the cover are provided with ribs a<SP>1</SP>, b<SP>1</SP> spanned by ribs or projections e<SP>1</SP> on a lock washer having a polygonal hole to engage the head c<SP>2</SP> of the screw that is drilled at c<SP>1</SP> to receive the hasp of a padlock that retains the washer in engagement with the ribs.
