Abstract
300,020. Hill, W. J. Nov. 18, 1927. Hasp fastenings and locks for boxes, cases, &c. comprise a loop e, preferably rectangular, pivotally mounted on the lid l and adapted to embrace a projecting lock-casing b secured to the box &c. m and be engaged by the bolt a of the lock. The bolt when shot preferably overlies the face of the loop as shown, Fig. 3. The loop is pivoted to a casing g containing a spring serving to retain the loop in its extreme positions. A guide pin j may be provided on casing (or lock case) to enter a hole d in the lock case (or in casing g).
