Abstract

176,669. Cheney, C. W. March 10, 1921. Hasp locks and fastenings.-In a fastening particularly applicable to tool-bags, a spring hasp member a<3> is formed with a hole a<4> to pass over a stud d<3> or the other part, and is secured by a pair of visible spring catches d', d<6>, which can be released by finger-pieces d<7>, d<8>, except when a locking-bolt is shot by a key into a position between the catches. The various parts are enclosed in a well pressed out from the front-plate, and the stud d<3> is preferably a further raising therefrom.
