Abstract

1324973 Seals FERRANTI Ltd 18 Jan 1972 [9 Feb 1971 20 March 1971] 4223/71 and 7394/71 Heading B6P [Also in Division F2] A cover 5 is fastened on to a container 3, for example a terminal box for an electric meter, by means of a tamper-proof fastener comprising a securing member 9 which passes through a bore in the cover 5 into a correspondingly threaded fastening member 4 fixed to the container 3. A locking member 13 is inserted into an axial bore in securing member 9 so as to cover the head of member 9 thereby preventing its removal unless the locking member 13 is broken. In modifications, the locking member is in the form of a nut, and the cover 5 need not be recessed.
