663,910. Filler blocks for concrete floors. PUBLICIDAD BALEAR SOC. ANON. Dec. 31, 1947 [Aug. 12, 1940], No. 16943/50. Divided out of 663,843. Class 20(iv) A hollow filler block for concrete floors, for example, as described in Specification 663,843 is made from brick clay or terra cotta and has substantially plane vertical side faces, each having a laterally projecting flange located slightly above the lower edge of the face; the upper edges of the ends of the block being chamfered. As shown, the block is of rectangular crosssection, a flange 15 projecting from each of the side faces 13 and 14 at a distance above the bottom edges thereof equal to the thickness of the flange. Ribs 16 are provided for bonding with the concrete in which the block is embedded when the floor is made. The transverse ends 17 of the block are chamfered at 18 and its hollow interior is divided by a number of partitions 19, 20, 21 and 22 into separate longitudinal cavities.
