655,123. Electric discharge lamps. SYLVANIA ELECTRIC PRODUCTS, Inc. June 4, 1948, No. 15207. Convention date, June 5, 1947. Drawings to Specification. [Class 39 (i)] A coating for the electrodes of gaseous discharge lamps comprises an oxide of at least one and preferably two of the alkaline earth metals mixed with a quantity of zirconium dioxide constituting 1 per cent to 11 per cent of the total weight of oxides. The electrodes may be used in a fluorescent lamp containing a quantity of mercury in addition to an inert gas, and filamentary electrodes. Specification 647,954 is referred to.
