647,792. Luggage attachments. BUEGELEISEN CO., J. Dec. 19, 1947, No. 33647. Convention date, July 14. [Class 136 (i)] A device for mounting a saddle bag on a motor-cycle of the type in which a mudguard is supported by radially upwardly extending rods D on the motor-cycle frame comprises a horizontally extending bar F, brackets G secured to and extending inwardly from the bar fashioned to fit over and be attached to a mudguard C, studs H extending outwardly from the bar engageable with eyelets in the inner wall of the saddle bag I and means within the bag for locking it to the studs. The brackets G are so positioned as to avoid interference with the radially extending rods D which support a luggage carrier and to hold the bar F outside the rods. Each bracket G comprises an angle strip G<SP>1</SP> attached to the mudguard and a post G<SP>2</SP> attached to the bar. Locking bars J, J<SP>1</SP> :are provided having key slots K fitting over the studs H and provided with small portions K<SP>1</SP> engaging slots in the apertured flanges J<SP>2</SP> for the engagement of a padlock.
