645,242. Couplings. SOC. SAVOISIENNE DE CONSTRUCTIONS ELECTRIQUES. July 1, 1948, No. 17760. Convention date, July 30, 1947. [Class 38 (i)] A device for making connection between a high-tension cable d and apparatus immersed in a tank a, e.g. a transformer, comprises a removable insulated conductor c having end terminals c<SP>1</SP>, c<SP>2</SP>, the conductor and the cableend box being surrounded by an oil-filled metal sheath. Said sheath comprises an open-ended yoke k fixed to the lid of the tank and to which are joined a lid-l and a union m, the latter resting on the base of the cable-end box. The terminals c<SP>1</SP>, c<SP>2</SP> are protected by insulation, similar to that of the winding of the apparatus.
