Plug-boards.-A terminal for a transformer or other electrical apparatus comprises an insulating bushing 1 containing a number of electrically-connected sockets 5 arranged in coaxial alignment with a like number of insulated sockets 6, so that by inserting a metallic plug 16 into any pair of aligned sockets any desired insulated socket may be connected with the electrically-connected sockets. The sockets 5 are all carried by a metallic plate 2 which is provided with a central terminal 3 for reception of a line connection 4. The sockets 6 are separated from the sockets 5 by tubes 7 of hard rubber or the like, and are connected by leads 8, which pass out of the bushing 1 through grooves 12 in an end insulating plate 10, to tapping points on the transformer or other winding. The space within the bushing beneath the plate 2 is filled with insulating cement 13, a spacing tube 15 being placed between the bottom of the cement and the plate 10. The plug 16 comprises a rod 17 having a split lower end 18 to engage the sockets 6, the upper end of the plug being screw-threaded to receive a contact-member 20 having a slotted expanded portion 20<a> to engage the sockets 5. In a modification, the plug is screwed into or out of the sockets.
