[Class 52 (v)] In order to secure the bracket arm of a lamp or like stand according to the parent Specification in adjusted position an additional short link 10 is provided between the point of attachment to the stand of the link 17 and a point 14 on the other link 15 of the parallelogram linkage. Friction washers are interposed at the link pivots and the clamping nut 18, when tightened, secures the whole linkage.
