Abstract

681,485. Scaffolding. KWIKFORM, Ltd. June 1, 1951 [June 5, 1950], No. 13941/50. Addition to 652,301. Class 20(ii) [Also in Groups I and XXV] The upright for supporting a guard rail for a scaffolding structure described in the parent Specification is modified in that the clip 14 securing the toe board 11 in position is covered by a collar slidable on the upright 12 so that the clip can be adjusted for toe boards of different height. The arm 21 of the clamp 20 is also formed with a concave recess extending above the longitudinal axis of the guard rail 13 so as to more firmly secure the latter in its clamped position. The axis of the clamping screw 23 may also be disposed above the longitudinal axis of the rail 13.
