Abstract

787,744. Brackets. BRYSON BRACKETS, Ltd. March 18, 1955 [March 19, 1954], No. 8097/54. Class 52(5) A support for a pipe or radiator comprises an elongated member 1 resting on and extending upwardly from the floor, an arm 8 extending outwardly from and adjustable lengthwise of the member, and a supporting element 11 adjustable along the arm with which it has tongue and groove engagement. The element 11 is locked in adjusted position by a screw 16 and the arm is locked in adjusted position on a web 5 of the member 1 by a bolt 6 and washer 7 mounted on the web and engaging an aperture 9 in the arm. The contacting surfaces of the web and of the arm are serrated at 10 and the base 2 of the member 1 is screwed to the floor. In a modification the tongue is on the supporting element and the groove is in the arm.
