Abstract
277,425. Tullett, A. June 17, 1926. Hinges. - Adjustable supports for electric lamps comprise a standard adapted to fit in either of two holes 22, 23 in a member 18 mounted on the bolt 12 of a clamp 11, 13, a wing-nut 25 with a spring-washer 24 being provided for attachment to the bolt 12 above the member 18 for securing the latter in adjusted position and for securing the clamp to a table or other article. The adjacent faces of the member 18 and the part 13 of the clamp are serrated. The lamp-holder 7 may be clamped in a ring 6, Fig. 1, connected by a bolt and a wing-nut 9. to a member 8 pivotally mounted on a standard 10 or it may be clamped in a ring 26, Fig. 5, connected by a bolt and a wing- nut 27 to a member 28 pivoted at 31 on a member 30 connected by a bolt and a wing-nut 33 to a clamp 32 for attachment to a standard.
