547,992. Bench clamps. MOORE, F. W. Aug. 25, 1941, No. 10840. [Class 61 (ii)] A clamp comprising a vertical post 3 passing through a hole in the bench 1 and provided with an arm 5 carrying a screw 7 and jaw 8 for clamping the work 2 has notches 4 along the post 3 adapted to engage the inner projecting rim 12 of an abutment sleeve 9 secured in a hole in the bench by means of bolts 17 passing through a flange 10 on the sleeve and a lower annular plate 13.
