550,154. Vices. LOCKWOOD, P. W. Sept. 5, 1941, No. 11389. [Class 61 (ii)] A machine tool vice has the vice body G carried by a central part E which is adjustable about a vertical axis on the base A by the aid of a scale B and clamped in adjusted position by tightening screws D ; the body G is adjustable in a vertical plane about an axis F and secured in adjusted position by the aid of pairs of folding links H, J and clamp bolts K, L; M. A pin N of known diameter and distance from the axis F is used in the manner of a sine bar pin to set up the vertical angle.
