[Class 52 (iii)] A stand particularly for mounting a camera on a motor vehicle comprises lower a portion having two limbs 9, 10 one of which 9 is adapted to be inserted in the window opening of the door while the other carries clamping bolts 12. Pivoted about a horizontal bolt 3 carried by lugs 6 is the upper portion by means of turned-down portions 5 while the camera is adapted to be clamped to the upper surface of the stand by a set-screw 16 at any traversing angle desired. A rubber friction mat 8 and a flange 13 adapted to rest on the outer wall of the window opening are provided.
