[Class 80(ii)] [Also in Group XXXIV] In a resilient device fitted between spaced members relatively-movable about an axis, shown applied to a vehicle wheel but stated to be applicable to shaft couplings and the like, of the type in which non-metallic resilient blocks are mounted in circular recesses in the facing parts of the relatively-movable members, the heads of the resilient blocks are fitted with metal cups arranged to bear on the peripheral surfacesonly of the recesses. Fig. 1 shows a railway wheel in which the rim 2 is carried by a central disc 5 floatingly-supported between. hub-discs 3, 4 by rubber blocks 6 with metal backing-cups 9, 10, Fig. 3, housed in facing recesses 7, 8 in the discs. Specifications 449,738, [Group XXXIV], and 526,265 are referred to.
