594,180. Vehicle wheels. MAcLEAN, J. M. June 27, 1945, No. 16381. Convention date, July 20, 1944. [Class 144 (i)] A resilient wheel, particularly for use on heavy vehicles, comprises a rubber or like resilient filling between the rim 10 and hub 12, and two alternating sets of blades 11, 13 extending respectively from the rim towards the hub and vice versa. The members of each set of blades may be connected by side rings 14, 15 which may be welded, or bolted, &c., to the blades. The resilient body D may be provided with transverse holes 17, 18 for cooling and expansion purposes.
