630,345. Vehicle wheels. S.A.G.A. SOC. APPLICAZIONI GOMMA ANTIVIBRANTI. Aug. 8, 1947, No. 22071. Convention date, Aug. 8, 1946. [Class 144 (i)] A resilient wheel comprises two radiallyspaced sets of rubber blocks 14, 15 (or continuous rings) secured, preferably under axial compression, to flanges 1-2, 3-4 of the wheel rim 7 and hub 10 respectively, and connected by a floating rigid metal ring 13. As shown, the cushion-rubber is extended over the rim- and hub-flanges and the intermediate portion of the ring 13. The flange portions of the rim and hub are connected by channel plates or rings 3, 6.
