Abstract

575,279. Vehicle wheels. WINGFOOT CORPORATION. Sept. 1, 1944, No. 16712. Convention date, Sept. 27, 1943. [Class 144 (ii)] Tyre attachments to rims.-In a rim of the kind having a fixed flange 12 and a detachable flange 20 secured by a split ring 22, the toeportion of the locking ring is coned to provide a wedge-seating 24 for the tyre-bead. As shown, a corresponding coned seating 16 may be provided at the other side of the rim.
