Abstract

1,035,614. Resilient mountings. MONTANELEKTRONIK G.m.b.H. April 30, 1963, No. 16937/63. Heading F2S. [Also in Division B7] A resilient mounting for a wheel comprises two annular rubber bodies each mounted between two annular discs 5, 8, one of which is supported by the wheel rim and the other by the wheel hub, each rubber body being composed of axially aligned annular elements 2, 6 of different springiness connected together by further annular discs 9 bonded between them by vulcanizing, the discs 9 being associated with abutments 11 on the wheel rim or hub and the elements contacting the discs 5, 8 being bonded to them by vulcanizing. The elements 2, 6 may be of different diameters. As shown in Fig. 1, the two discs 5 are bolted together and mounted on a sleeve 4 which carries wearing rings to act as the abutments 11.
