In a method of treating seeds with oxidizing chemical agents the seeds are soaked in an aqueous solution of hydrogen peroxide of about .01-.05 per cent and no measures are taken to remove the solution from the seeds. Acid e.g. sulphuric and nitrates containing a weak salt base, or chlorine may be added to the solution which may include nutritives. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 393,808.
