Abstract

639,463. Lathe turrets. TRIGGS, W. W. (Skoda Works, Plzen). Sept. 17, 1946, No. 27841. [A Specification was laid open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, Sept. 17, 1946.] [Class 83 (iii)] A cantilever portion 13 projects out of the front wall of a lathe turret head and supports the body portion 4 of the tool-holder. The portion 4 bears against the portion 13, which is formed by an extension of the shaft 2, the bearing surfaces being cylindrically-shaped, and the portion 4 is secured to the portion 13 by 'means of a screw 5, the head of which bears against a spherical washer 7, the screw having clearance within the portion 4 so that the toolholder can be angularly adjusted after the screw has been inserted. The portion 4 is adjusted after the screw has been inserted. The portion 4 is adjustable axially of the portion 13.
