Abstract

637,484. Pliers. HANSEN, A. Dec. 11, 1947, No. 32631. Convention date, Oct. 24, 1946. [Class 61 (ii)] The metallic sheath of an electric cable is slit longitudinally by pliers, the jaws of which comprise a concave, grooved, guiding roller 4 and a cutting roller 5 having two cutting edges 51, the two rollers being pivoted on the same side of the pliers and their axes of rotation being parallel to the rivet pin 3. A guard 10 for the cutter and a screw 11 to limit the relative movement of the plier legs are provided.
