[Class 36] A cable-stripping tool comprises a pair of interengaging members a, b which together form an aperture k through which the cable to be stripped is inserted, the internal perimeter of the aperture k being formed of cutting edges h, i. The member a is provided with legs c which fit into recesses d in member b. Compression springs e normally separate members a, b. Movement of member a either inwardly or outwardly is limited by screws f working in grooves g. The device is operated by one hand and the cutting aperture may be circular, oval or angular.
