637,003. Cooling cylinders ; pumps. SCHWEIZERISCHE LOKOMOTIV-UND MASCHINENFABRIK. March 11, 1948, No. 7455. Convention date, March 14, 1947. [Class 7 (ii)] Cooling air from a fan 18 is directed on to the cylinders by a casing 25 which is connected to the cylinder jacket by edge flanges and which includes passages 21 for the combustion air which may be supplied by a Roots' blower 17 or come direct from a filter 15. The casing 25 may also enclose a lubricant cooler. The pumps 18, 17 may be driven from the crank-shaft by the same belt.
